It seems that the people at Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Cadbury’s Chocolates are constantly coming up with new ways to tempt our taste buds.

The latest treat to hit the market is “Chocolate Philadelphia”, a chocolatey cream cheese dip/spread which can be used for all sorts of quick and delectable desserts.

I know I would like to pair this delicious filling with Brandy Snaps. I would pipe one half of the biscuit with cream and the other half with the creamy Chocolate Philadelphia filling Yum!

Does dessert get any better or easier than that?

The new “Chocolate Philadelphia” became available in Woolworths Supermarkets nationally from Wednesday 13 February, Independent Retailers nationally from Monday 18 February and Coles Supermarkets nationally from Wednesday 6 March.  Chocolate Philadelphia is available in 140g single tubs and 150g pack of four mini-tubs at a RRP of $3.19.

  1. This looks delicious I think I would just need a spoon and eat it straight from the tub. I must admit I’m not the best when it comes to dessert, but I’m pretty sure this could go in a puff pastry type dessert with some custard for the Hubby.

  3. I’d pipe the Chocolate Philadelphia onto a pavlova and add raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. Yum!

  8. I think the thing to have is some fruit. I’m thinking pound cake squares with the spread topped with strawberries.

  9. Regardless of what I am doing, I would definitely spread and very generously too. If I was baking though, I reckon I would first spread on a layer and then fix some with some mashed up frozen berries and then pipe it right on top heh heh heh

  10. I would use it to make a beautiful chocolate pencan nut pie, and I would pipe my Mum’s name on the top with the Chocolate Philly for her birthday!

  12. I think I’d keep it simple and dip strawberries, bananas and marshmallows in it though I may try and coax my sister into making something more extravagant.

  17. This chocolat philedephia we have also in Germany and the Netherlands, and I think this is one of the most amazing combinations !

  18. Aaah, this stuff is dangerous! We don’t have the Cadbury Philadelphia in France but they make a version with Milka (it’s a Swiss (or maybe German?) chocolate which is equally wonderful. I kept going to the refrigerator and sneaking spoonfuls because it’s like eating some rich chocolate mousse!

    I would get the mini vol au vent cases or mini tarts and put a slice of banana then the chocolate Philly and a blob of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

  21. Chocolate Philly how great, it will make hosting a high tea so much easier. Could you imagine brandy snaps with chocolate Philly in the middle and cream on each end . What a nice surprise. Meringue kisses joined with chocolate Philly. Orange tartlets topped with chocolate Philly and greated orange rind. Small pikelets spread with chocolate Philly and topped with different fruits and berries. Petits fours decorated with chocolate Philly. The list could go on and all so easy with Chocolate Philly.

  22. I think I would make a chocolate cheesecake covered in whipped cream with strawberries on the side. Amazing how I haven’t seen this in the supermarkets especially as I’m in the shops EVERY SINGLE DAY xx

  23. I’d pipe it onto some of the most decadent chocolate and hazelnut tarts.
    I give up chocolate every year for Lent in the lead up to Easter; that’s 40 days chocolate free!!!
    Anything chocolate flavoured is also off the list, ie. chocolate milkshakes, ice-creams, hot chocolate, even Nutella!
    It’s a huge sacrifice for me, so I’d definitely make some chocolate and hazlenut tarts to eat on Easter Sunday!!!!
