In my kitchen this month I have some very lovely “pretties”
Recently I was walking past “Typo” and found some cute little treasure that made me want to squeal. Quite a few of these items have found there way back into my kitchen. Some I just photographed.
This notebook made me smile, I love Paris and it seemed a fitting notebook for my Gourmet Getaways stories. I always take a notebook with me to restaurants and festivals so I can take notes on the go.
I also had to buy the matching zipper bag. I am not sure what I will use it for, perhaps make up on overnight trips… I only wear a little makeup so I only need a little bag.
I found so many cute cupcake sets that I couldn’t make up my mind which ones to buy!
What a dilemma!
The black ones look really smart and I love the bold “Eat Me”
…however the green “Keep Calm… Eat Cake” also appealed to me. Oh, and what do you think of the cute matching cupcake pedestals?
My recipe box is a tacky smoked plastic and I would have loved to “upgrade” to this white washed wooden box but by this time I already had quite a collection on the counter.
I simply couldn’t leave behind these cookie stamps. I hope to use them during the school holidays to make stamped sugar cookies with my daughter.
Whilst this isn’t a kitchen item I think it is too cute not to share. This little wire heart will hold beads and bangles in my wardrobe.
I have also made a recent trip to Earthbound and come home with two different varieties of glasses. Hopefully each glass will hold a dessert in a future Gourmet Getaway story.
I bought some retro paper straws… just because.
Now I need to go and find a new home for all these items in my overcrowded kitchen.
So fellow bloggers, how full are your kitchen cupboards… do you have two of ever style of cup, glass, bowl and plate and a whole set of nothing!
